Introduction
Welcome to LeaseYard. LeaseYard is a B2B2C digital leasing platform owned and operated by Negent Systems Limited ("LeaseYard", "we", "our", or "us"). LeaseYard provides a SaaS platform that enables Organizations to manage the leasing lifecycle of their assets and onboard their own End-Customers. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
Definition of Terms
Organizations: Refers to businesses that subscribe to the LeaseYard platform to manage their leasing operations and onboard their clients.
End-Customers: Refers to the individuals or entities invited or onboarded by Organizations to create, negotiate, and execute lease agreements via the Platform.
Users: Collectively refers to both Organizations and End-Customers, as applicable.
Our Role
LeaseYard is a technology provider and is not a party to lease transactions between Organizations and their End-Customers, nor do we act as a broker, insurer, financial institution, guarantor, or legal adviser.
Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to contract, provide accurate information, and comply with applicable laws. Organizations are responsible for ensuring that their End-Customers also meet these eligibility requirements.
Accounts
Organizations are responsible for account security and all activities performed under their accounts, including the actions of their authorized personnel and the End-Customers they onboard.
Identity Verification
LeaseYard may perform KYC and business verification on Organizations. Organizations are responsible for verifying the identity of their End-Customers in accordance with their internal policies and applicable laws.
Asset Listing
Organizations warrant that they own or are authorized to lease listed assets and that all information uploaded regarding these assets is accurate.
Digital Lease Agreement
LeaseYard provides tools for Organizations and their End-Customers to draft, sign, store, renew, and manage digital lease agreements.
Electronic Signatures
Electronic signatures facilitated by LeaseYard are intended to have legal effect between the Business User and the End-Customer to the extent permitted by law.
Payments
LeaseYard may facilitate payment processing between the Business User and the End-Customer through third-party providers but does not guarantee transaction completion.
Subscription Services
Paid services are provided to Organizations and are subject to the terms of the specific subscription plan selected.
User Content
Users retain ownership of uploaded content while granting LeaseYard a license to process it for service delivery. Organizations are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to process End-Customer data on the Platform.
AI Features
AI-generated outputs are informational and should not replace professional advice.
Prohibited Activities
Fraud, forged documents, stolen assets, money laundering, malware, and unlawful activity are prohibited for all Users.
Third Party Services
LeaseYard integrates with external providers that operate under their own terms.
Platform Availability
Service interruptions may occur for maintenance or external events.
Intellectual Property
LeaseYard owns its software, branding, APIs, interfaces, and documentation.
Suspension and Termination
Accounts may be suspended for fraud, illegal conduct, or policy violations by either Organizations or End-Customers.
Disclaimer
The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties.
Limitation of Liability
LeaseYard's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnity
Organizations agree to indemnify LeaseYard against claims arising from their use of the Platform or their interactions with their End-Customers.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Changes
LeaseYard may amend these Terms from time to time.
